“Wesley Nóog & Roda Jardim Suspenso” is led by Brazilian Wesley Nóog on acoustic and electric guitars and voice. The band features: Danny Grewen – trombone, and Ramon Ortiz – drums. They will play Nóog’s original Samba-Soul and Samba Cancão compositions, MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) and Brazilian Samba standards.<br /> <br /> Come join us and enjoy some Brazilian music under the lovely Sycamore tree along the Eno River in Hillsborough, NC USA.<br /> <br /> “This is the essence of my music: Samba-soul, the junction of the roots of Samba with the heritage of North American Soul, created by blacks, children of slaves, after official liberation.
