We are a busy, established Dog Walking Service in Astoria, Queens looking to hire a reliable Dog Handler to join our team.

This position starts out with Part-Time Training at about 15-20 Hours per week, with the Potential to Grow.

Requirements:
– Must speak English.
– Must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
– Must feel comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds and interested in learning about animal behavior.
– Must be able to handle walking outside in all types of weather — snow, rain, cold temperatures, and heat. We walk in it all!
– Must be able to handle walking on your feet for at least 4 hours at a time.
– Must be 21 or older.
– Must have a smartphone and strong communication skills.
– Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
– Must treat clients and their homes with respect.
– Must be available Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. This job a part-time position, and is ideal for someone who works on evenings or weekends.
– Must commit to working for at least 6 months–this is important, and preference will be given to those who can stay longer.
– Dog walking experience preferred, but is NOT necessary. We will train the right candidate with paid training.
– Must live in Astoria or the surrounding neighborhoods.
