Marisa Monte – the four-time Latin GRAMMY Award winner recognized as the greatest Brazilian vocalist of her generation – has exploded back on the scene celebrating her newest release "Portas" (Phonomotor/Sony Music) with a March 2022, 10-sity U.S. tour culminating in LA. Monte, the recent winner of the prestigious Tenco Prize, has launched one wildly successful project after another, with two groundbreaking albums on Brazil's top 100. Monte has collaborated with a who’s-who including David Byrne, Philip Glass, Julieta Venegas, Arto Lindsay, Gilberto Gil, Seu Jorge and Caetano Veloso, and as a partner in the super group Tribalistas.
